N CLASS HISTORY THE SENIOR CLASS FROM GENESIS TO REVELATIONS ln the beginning Horace Mann created the present educational system In accordance many luttle pulgrums ventured off to FHS on bright September morns Our stalwart luttle band of would be Avus Larsons and Bull Dees presented this typical array of starched punafores pugtauls muddues and knickers back in l94l Little did we dream that we could be met by catastrophes greater than losing our locker keys or stumbling into the wrong gym classes or that we brazen little sputwad throwing tack placing aurplane sailing 7th graders would ever emerge as the serene and dugnufued eughth grade scholars who aimed to please We remember well that June Cross excelled then as now un push ups whenever physical efficiency tests were given Laura Morrissey gauned heights of popularity in the 8th grade art class In ninth grade our unterests soared to the more social aspects of life Remember those science fueld trips all our parties and pucnucs and the yunuor hugh carnival? We had a great tume at the faculty party-cavortung to all the old folk tunes But finally we went hugh class and organized a lively dancung class The boys had to be coaxed but we managed' Who will ever forget swungung around the floor to the tune of South or the Muskrat Ramble 9 Thus was a good year for ut brought us Fred Mor schung a truck druvung farmer who made the grade un hugh Earl Pofahl also came to goin our class But he was way ahead of us for he got a job as a mulkman and started his day when most of us were still snoozung Robert Musgen arrived from the shores of Roberds Lake Two assets came to the commercual department un the forms of the Barry susters Pot and Phyl Dorothy Lockwood started her commercual career at this time too while Dorleen Larson began sewung and cookung with true skull un her home economucs course Funally we made some real progress to the senuor hugh that us' The boys lost their crownung glory un another surging wave of heinie hair cuts Was this the unevutable that attracted Marulyn Mealey to one of the shorn7 But then we have that non conformust Larry Dozark who proved to hus classmates that he could grow a beard at the tender age of I5 Maruan Day popped out in a new number a black hat temptungly trummed with a red rose Do you suppose Helen Mapes remembers that hectuc night at Northfield?
