Spanish Teacher, Librarian Added To South Faculty French, German and Spanish continued to be the three foreign languages in the South language area under the chair- person Pat Papacek. Kathy Bommersbach was the new Spanish teacher on the staff. With emphasis still on the language, the language stu- dents still made it to the kit- chen to try the culinary arts of the respective native countries. joanne Boerth joined the library as a part-time librarian to assist Hazel Yiniemi and her staff. The library continued to increase its schoo services. Materials available in the library are used by sophomores Kim Knecht and jean Tommerous. Taking advantage of the quite library, junior Tim Cokey uses German students Paula Larson, Diane Cossette, Elizabeth Saunders, the library for studying. McConn joins English Staff, Assu mes Debate English Department chair- man Dellis Schrock stated, I think we have a well-rounded department. We've evidence that the students are prepared. We want to concentrate on bettering it even more. Owing to the fact that a majority of the staff has this belief, the department made no changes, with the exception of a new staff member, Thomas McConn. McConn taught sophomore English and was the debate coach. McConn commented, l've enjoyed all that I have done here.
