Business Classes Obtain Texts And Typewriters We are keeping up with the times, said Business Edu- cation Department head Robert Crippen. We've added a new course, received new textbooks and 12 electric typewriters. Office skills cluster was the new course added to the department. The class is pri- marily set up for juniors as a fill-in for office practice. New textbooks were issued to students in Typing 1 , record- keeping, accounting and busi- ness law. In addition to books, the Business Department ac- quired the electric typewriters. i I Typing course may be taken by students on four different levels while she is doing an exercise in her Typing II class under the eye during their stay at South. McConn joins English Staff, Assu mes Debate English Department chair- man Dellis Schrock stated, I think we have a well-rounded department. We've evidence that the students are prepared. We want to concentrate on bettering it even more. Owing to the fact that a majority of the staff has this belief, the department made no changes, with the exception of a new staff member, Thomas McConn. McConn taught sophomore English and was the debate coach. McConn commented, l've enjoyed all that I have done here.
