He succeeded Ed Raymond, nowanegotiator. I think the kids are super, Spence explained, South has an outstanding curriculum and fine teachers. He made his presence known by increasing hall supervision and tightening the attendance system. A clerk, Ellen McGeehan, was hired to check slips and call parents. Fund Raisers, Ski Field Trips Held by ILCers We supply many with a second home. This idea is an objective of South's Individual- ized Learning Center. Students who enroll in ILC do so volun- tarily. The Center is olften re- commended by friends. Stu- dents find a place to go and someone to talk to there. Stu- dents are involved in many functions both in and out of school. ILCers have partici- pated in many fund raising projects along with a number of field trips. The ILC Center is staffed by Betty Anderson, Curt Smith and Delores Ault. twenty-three
