Lights are important part of any play. Drama Club's 1977-78 year was a successful one. Along with the production of two plays and a musical, the club members sponsored a dance featuring Transit and made a trip to the Guthrie Theatre in Minneapolis. Officers for the 1977-78 year were Mary Knox, president, Sue Cummings, vice president, and Susy Wenz, secretary-trea- surer. Lee Myxter was the adviser for the club. At the Awards Day assembly, trophies were given to Kim Knutson, Best Actress, Don Dahl, Best Actor, Mary Knox, Best Supporting Actress, Rob Schanilec, Best Supporting Actor, and 'Susy Wenz, Best Thespian. Thirteen students were selected to join the International Thespian Society by the members. The Drama Club held a banquet at the Bowler on May 16 to honor the members.
