The group adviser Pat Papacek felt that the trip was good experience. A 5100 scholarship, funded by money from sales held by the Foreign Exchange Club was given to an applicant from South High. The award was given to the recipient on Awards Day. About fifteen students were active in the club that played host to three students from foreign countries. Foreign Exchange Club's homecoming float Carried out the theme of an oriental setting, featuring Ana Dias and lens Odgaard, V? Baumgartner, j. Daul, A. Brodigan. Back Row: G. Hoff, M. Edgerly, M. Flannigan, adviser H. Lee and T. Stenjhem. 'UK Ol! QQ' Spanish Club members are, Front Row: A. Dias, C. Izzo, D. Kenward, adviser C. Bommersbach. Row 2: M. Edgerly, L. Alton, B. Miller and P. Schmidt. Spanish Club was the smallest club. The Gong Show was the theme for this skit done by German students. This skit was used during the state German convention.
