Thirty-three girls were chosen to make up the d M Cr , six squads which include A-squad, B-squad, Hockey, Wrestling, Swimming and Freshmen. en In October all of the squads attended a cheer- leading clinic in Valley City. They learned jumps To and cheers to use in the upcoming seasons. Pom Pon, Pep Club Promote Bruin Spirit, Raise Activit Funds South High's pom pon girls promoted school spirit by performing routines at home game half-times as well as attending away games. Following an Oriental Homecoming theme, the pom pon girls were outfitted in karate uniforms. Rain spoiled a ga-me performance but the squad had appeared earlier that day at the pep fest. Burtness. The Pep Club members had Sadie Hawkins Day Kliest, C. Meyer, K. Eide, M, Haider, S. Braaten, A. Hopple, one hundred eight C. and Dance as their biggest project aside from aiding school spirit.
