Thirty-three girls were chosen to make up the d M Cr , six squads which include A-squad, B-squad, Hockey, Wrestling, Swimming and Freshmen. en In October all of the squads attended a cheer- leading clinic in Valley City. They learned jumps To and cheers to use in the upcoming seasons. Queen Bobbi and a routine performed by the pom pon girls. Football followed when South trounced the Red River Roughriders 14-0. Transit performed at the dance from 9 to 12. Float judging was postponed a week because of torrential rains. The freshman float won, followed by the foreign exchange float. The annual parade down the Red River Mall was cancelled because of the rain.
