Student Council Convention, which was held at NDSU November 13-15. Senior Peggy Klein is this year's secretary of council and Nancy Boatman is treasurer. The activities commission is chaired by Lisa Anderson. Senior Michelle Kelly is in charge of publicity, and rights and responsibilities commissioner is Pam Paulson. This year's advisor for student council is principal james Spence. Queen Bobbi and a routine performed by the pom pon girls. Football followed when South trounced the Red River Roughriders 14-0. Transit performed at the dance from 9 to 12. Float judging was postponed a week because of torrential rains. The freshman float won, followed by the foreign exchange float. The annual parade down the Red River Mall was cancelled because of the rain. Senior Bobbi Pratt, the newly crowned Queen Bruin XI, begins her reign over the 1977 Homecoming festivities with an elated smile. jim Hewitt and Debbie Millar boogie to the tunes of 'Transit' Below: The masked washerwoman adds laughter to the pep fest Four Bruin football players jump for joy after scoring a touchdown against the Red River Roughriders in a game which South won 14-0.
