' ver the Rainbow' Sets Mood Juniors Michelle Kelly and Fred Schlanser take a break from the dancing to go to the North meets South as Roger Coffey of North High dances with his date Joyce Lauinger to ' 1 -1 lounge area in the balcony to partake some liquid refreshment before going back to dance. the music of Roughrider at the joint North- South Prom held April 16 at North High. Over the Rainbow was carried out as the theme for the 1977 North-South Junior-Senior Prom, which was held at North. The rock group Roughrider'r' played for the April 16 event which was held from 9 to 12 in the North gym. Decorations included ' a huge rainbow under which students had to walk tb get on the dance slriiiril J floor, and streamers were wired above the gym. Punched was also served. Southsprom chairman was junior Karen Hegre. Student Council aided in the decorations and-ticket i selling. long time J prom sponsor noted, It's as good aturnout as they've had in years. g. l Deann Suppa and Jared Krieg have their prom pictures taken by the LDJ studio. seventy-five
