n ',f,', E ,,,1 . - Senior Kathleen Sorensen presents the sports news on the KQWB program. Kathy was one Radio Club Continues Broadcasting n KQ B South I-ligh's Bruins-of-the- Air was under the direction of a new adviser this year, Mr. Larry Holzer. In past years the club was advised by June Dobervich. of the more knowledgeable members in sports because she was also a team statistician. Spring of '77 marks the end of the Bruins-of-the-Airis 6th year of broadcasting from KQWB radio station. KQWB is used by the Bruins-of-the-Air to broad- cast from on Saturday mornings from 9 to 9:30. Mr. Holzer stated that there were 11 mem- bers who attended the club, and each member had to write his or her own material and read it on the air. Tryouts were held early in the year to choose new members and editors were named in the spring. Senior Earle Olson was the editor. - .
