We went from a losing record in the previous year to a 13-11 season, the best in years, he continued. On a few of the strong aspects of his team, he pointed out their pressing defense, overall attitude and hustle. We also outscored almost all our opponents in the fourth quarter of each game. This he attributed to good conditioning. Height was the predomi- nant weak point, as in past years. A highlight of the season was the winning of the third place in the Southeast Region. Ann Devlin and Lynn Harty, both juniors, served as co-captains for the 1976 junior varsity season.
