YS time for advice d lhal's all there is to llll, DEDI CA T I ON Henry Adams once said, A teacher affects eternity, he can never tell where his influence stops. At Falmouth High School we are fortunate to have several such people. However, We, the Class of 1973, feel that there is one in particular who stands out above the others. He possesses all the qualities that a teacher must have: patience, objectivity, thorough knowledge of his subject, and a sense of humor. Beyond this, We acknowledge him to be an individual Who gives unselfishly of his time and energies, be they educa- tional, athletic, or musical. We will remember him as a friend, a teacher, a coach, and an adviser long after we leave his classroom. These are the reasons why We, the Class of 1973, proudly dedicate this forty-third edition of The Crest to one of the World's four greatest mathematicians, HERBERT A. HOPPE.
