A FOND FAREWELL TO . . . Tom and Betty MacGregor have been an integral and important part of Falmouth High School for seven years. They have decided now to “graduate” with the class of 1980, and reside in Florida dur- ing the winter, returning to Falmouth for the summer season. In ad- dition to holding the exhausting positions of security aides at FHS, they have also been the friendly faces we have turned to when our lockers were stuck, our lunches weren’t quite right, or when we just needed tickets to a football game. They worked not only during school hours, but often well into the evening chaperoning class and club-sponsored events. Therefore it is no surprise that they intend not to retire, but to possibly manage a guest house in a college town. The class of 1980, along with the rest of Falmouth High School thanks the MacGregors and wishes them the best for the future. . . . TOM BETTY 6

Dedication Our class advisor, Mr. Eugene C. Phillips, has been as much a part of the class of 1980 as the spirit and love we have shared. Entering Falmouth High as strangers, we managed to carry out many successful projects under the guidance of Mr. Phillips. He never dictated to the class; he allowed us to carry out our own ideas and was always there to give help and sugges- tions. He has said that he is glad to see us “carry on, with work, the army, or school; carry on with spirit, on and up. Sail on forever.” We, Mr. Phillips, hope that you will always have smooth sailing, and we dedicate this yearbook to you. 5
