Mrs. Ilene Ingber, who retains her maiden name, is now happily married to a well-known con- struction engineer. She built this theatre with her own scaffolds, especially for the premiere. The play is to start at 9:00 p.m. It is now 8:25 p.m., and some outstanding personalities are beginning to arrive. Stepping out of matching Ferraris, I recognize four people distinguished in the field of science: Dr. Robert Kahn of the Woodboume Medical Center, who has achieved world renown with his book entitled ”A Fly a Day Keeps the Doctor Away;” Dr. David Smith and Dr. Steven Sheinwald, famed for their amazing discoveries which led up to the cures for laziness and the giggles, respec- tively; and Dr. Steven DiVito, famed chemist who has left his job at Oxford University to take over 11th grade chemistry at FCS. Just to the left of us a special chartered jet from Washington is landing. Everyone is rushing to the plane now as the president of the United States, Michael Brizel, alights. President Brizel arrives with members of his immediate staff: the Hon. James Street, first black chief justice of the Supreme Court; Mona Millstein, U.S. Ambassador to South Africa; Roberta Paul, Secretary of the Interior Design; and Beth Kantrowitz, newly appointed head of the President’s commission on care for the underprivileged. At the end of the entourage, we find the President’s faithful secretar- ies: Linda Cummings, Marcia Decker, Nancy Conklin, Joyce Mitteer, and Cathy Rosemary Woods” Eltz. Standing in front of the billboard, I see some men talking. They seem to be rather important and well-to-do. I recognize one of them as Mr. Lance Wichinsky, head of the American division of Mercedes-Benz, Inc. Mr. Wichinsky just donated a car to the FCS Driver’s Education Program. Receiving the car were Driver’s Education teachers Michael Slobodow and Brian Biederman, who will be sure to give it the best of care. With them are Steven Gershon, Paul Lucyk, and Marc Gertner, co-owners of a chain of garages throughout the U.S. Sitting on the board of directors of this great corporation are Duane Hannold, Arthur Rosen, and Paul Hershewsky. I can now see Jack and Ralph Waldman approaching. Their new hit revival of A. Martin Neid- erman’s best seller novel, Brothers,” can be seen one week from tonight at the Rivoli. A few of the fabulous Fallsburg Trotters, Ricky Woodard, Norris Gilmore, Chuck Hinton, and Terry Patton are now entering the theatre in their usual fashion —dribbling a basketball. Here come the stars of 1974,” Robin Cook and Richard Lebed, famous for their television and movie appearances, and here tonight to perform in this nostalgic play. Back stage are Peter Dricver and Michael Green, world known for their exceptional abilities in electrical engineering, partying in the projection booth. Strolling down the sidewalk now is the writer of this play, Stephanie Wilson, winner of the Pulitzer Prize. Surprisingly enough, Miss Wilson is unescorted tonight. With her, though, is the play’s producer, Connie Hull, the woman who chose producing over a very promising acting career. Here comes the band leader that beats all! He’s Eric Abis. Abis has toured the world playing his tuba, and is now receiving royalties for his new graduation march. Hi, excuse me, folks. I just had to say hello to Mr. Steven Ehrlich, star of the U.S. Olympic Ski Team, and Sandi Garelick, world famous artist. Also with them are three members of the Olympic Gymnastic Team, Laura Hewlett, Jan Terwilliger, and Shanda Gadsden. Over to the left of the theatre, I can see a crowd gathering around the famed rock group, Stoned Soul,” Willie Bubba” Adamson, Patty and William Seawell, Andrea Brown, Shirley Bennett, Mitchell Patterson, Jaywonder Williams, and John Whidbee. Coming out of a Cadillac limousine at the time are Debbie Denenberg, Ina Miller, Phyllis Lubell, and Faye Perlman, big executives at Helena Rubenstein, Inc. With them are the famous fashion models, Elisc Podwill, Isabel Martinez, and Denise Zimmerman. Wow! Look at the men turn around as they enter the theatre! The crowd is going wild now. The spectacular silent film star, Terry Dill, approaches. Escort- ing her is organic farmer, bicyclist, Paul Nishman. Rumor has it that his wife, Susan Podhurst, is ill at home due to one of her fad starvation diets. Here comes the international chess champ, Danny Wasserman. With him are Mollie Goodman and Janice Osdoby, top executives of Manachewitz Kosher Wine Co. mm . — ' v.- . nsi 33 CWESST a U BOOSTERS 34 ve mN iEAH CURRENr WIR£ CLUB 35 CHORUS ENSEMBLE SiaSECREW TWESPWJ sociejv 37 Camera Shy: S. The swimming team almost won a meet. Steven S. used to get up and explain” in Mrs. Cohen’s class when someone did not understand. We had a prom. They used to give money BACK to seniors who didn’t go to Washington. We played strip poker, seven minutes in heaven, and post office and don’t forget spin the bottle. There was animosity between the Woodridge” kids and the Fallsburg” kids. Connie beat up Norris. Beth, Steffi, and llcne built a cabin in the woods. Debbie N. broke her arm on Lois’ stomach. Roberta called Mrs. Cohen, Miss Notebook. We stayed up all night to write our term papers. We went to see the Statue of Liberty and the bus driver got lost and we went through the Holland Tunnel 5 times. 59 REMEMBER WHEN . . . Duane and Nancy wore twin clothes. Norris got a crayon stuck in his nose. Denise called Mrs. Cohen, Mrs. Cosine. William C. volunteered to mop up the gym floor after the basketball game. Arthur R. got his new wheels. Danny, Paul N., and Marc M. broke into the old Woodridge school. There was the DUZ Ricky pulled his warm-ups and his playing shorts off at a basketball game. Marcia took over the front office. Mona popped a balloon in Mr. Michelson’s class and he said Ah . . . put that in your yearbook. Albert took over the Great G.O. James’ mother only allowed shakin’ hands but no kissin’ at his party. Gertner stared at Chamow all during class. Alfrcda L, Jeannie S., Gma P., Doreen C, Susan S., and Alan G. used to go to school with us. Beth and Seven E. had mono, and mysteriously enough Wendy didn’t get it. John H. became a cop. Carmen, Renee, Debra P., Shanda, Jaywonder, Mike M., and Janice O. graduated early. Steffi and Roberta went to buy ski underwear at Whipple’s when it was 80° Beth and Michael B. held hands in the planetarium, while Arthur waited for Roberta. Nikki B., Abby, Gwen, Lois, Jan, Donna and Barbara went to school with us. Paul C. wore a dress to school. Mitchell P. got his hair cut and wore a hat all day. Brian B. ate a steak dinner. Mr. Neidcrman called Lance’s car a Mazda, and Lance cursed at him. Elise K. graduated two years early. Davos had the whole basketball team working for it: Terry, Seawell, Bo-Bo, Norris, Chuck, and along with them a few more from FCS: Mona, Beth, Mr. Levy, and Mitchell P. Terry and Seawell got sent to the office for touching Faye P. Moses got caught in the girl’s bathroom. 60 THE PROPHECY (ewt't) Jody Chamow and Paul. Caramico arc aJso here. They went into business together in a uni-sex salon. Rumor has it that they are doing well together, odd as that may seem. Approaching arc the co-editors of Bride’s Magazine, Joi Kobrin and Dawn Matarazzo. Directly in back of them arc Arthur Schwartz and Albert Dishner, the owners of Monticello Raceway. I sec a few muscle men approaching. They arc the athletic directors of the President’s Program for Physical Fitness, Keith Mintz (believe it or not), Marc Mednick, and Moses Robinson. But look how red their eyes are! It must be those late hours in the gym behind the mats! Well folks, it seems that just about everyone is here, and the production is about to begin. Now you will witness the grand opening of ”1974,” one of the greatest plays of our time. All things arc as they were then, except you are there. You remember the class that graduated from the Fallsburgh Central High School in 1974 on that memorable night of June 23rd. We leave them now so that they might continue to embark upon newer and higher, ever grow- ing endeavors. The end of our high school years is a start of our new lives. Each and every one of us has the highest of hopes and dreams. May our class be blessed with having our dreams come true, our hopes realized. ERJCABfG UALUAfAAE£M£ON Science Club 9, 10; T.V.
