Pi Sigma Gamma Club The journalism staff began its work early in the fall of 1944 with Miss Winifred Evans as adviser. At the first meeting of the year, all those interested in forming a staff met with Miss Evans and they elected Barbara Jo McDevitt Editor-in-Chief. In the Spring, the journalism staff was revised and a journalism club, named the Pi Sigma Gamma club, was started in order to create more interest.
