The Junior Class Play ' On November 23, l945, at eight o'clock, a cast of twelve juniors presented a three act comedy, The whole Truth. The scene was the Martin summer home, located on a large estate in a small suburb of an eastern metropolis. The time was in early June. The cast of characters were: Mr. Joseph Martin - Peter Krogseng, a successful businessman whnse primary interest was his work, Mrs. Mildred Martin - Barbara McDevitt, his scatter- brain wife, Elizabeth Martin - Jean Radosevich, the Martin's twenty year old daughter, who was full of youthful pep and energy, Johnny Martin - Robert Hillstead, the Martin's seven- teen year old son. He was a picture af gay young America, Helen Martin - Jeanne Reuter, Mi. Martin's adventurous sister, a silly person whose love of travel led her to the far corners of the earth, Peverend Jacob Teasle - Kenneth Breneman, Pastor of the local suburban church. His first lege was his past- orate 6. Whitford Mundorf - Don Johnson, a business associate of Mr. Martin, who was a hard bargainer, Aunt Mat Worth - Sheila Oliver, Mrs. Martin's wealthy but thrifty aunt. She hated extravagance, Lucille Armitage - Mavis Jornlin, Johnny's college sweetheart. She was intelligent, vivacious, and gay, Tom De North - Ronald Laurion, Elizabeth's handsome, athletic sweetheart, Harriet - Hildur Oliver, the Martin's maid. She was the apple of Johnson's eye, Johnson - Malcolm Watson, the Martin's butler. Inci- dentally, he was a believer of the psychological moment, The Whole Truth was based upon the fact that Mrs. MartiH'haiade'H?-.fr family promise to tell nothing but the truth. Everything in the Martin household ran smoothly until on the servants' day off. Mr. Martin received word that an impressionable business associate was coming--and Mr. Martin must impress him with many servants. Johnny and Elizabeth then became the chauffeur and maid, Aunt Helen took over the cooK's duties, and the local pastor was converted into the butler! Then, to make matters worse, the sweethearts of the two children arrived unannounced, as did Mrs. Martin's wealthy Aunt Mat, who disliked servants! However, The Whole Truth, with its countless complications, only I'Ed t5 5 Happy conclusion.
