Mr. Wirtz helpt Japane e exchange student Chiaki with her English. Special Staff members help create a good year Of the Special Staff members at FCHS this year, four of them are professional people. Ron Holman is the Athletic Director. He also teaches Biology II and drivers’ education. He is the head football coach and assistant boys' track coach. Ron Wirtz is the librarian. He is also the librarian at Middle School, so he spends part of his time there. Ron Roggenkamp is the school counselor. Mr. Roggenkamp is the sponsor of Student Council, and he also keeps busy with various other school-related activities. Clara Marx is the school nurse. This is her first year with the Falls City School System. Mitzi Bittner, who helps Mrs. Veigel, is an aide for the resource room. Jackie Hartman is an aide in the library; she helps Mr. Wirtz on the days when he is at Middle School. Colleen Morehead is one of the secretaries, and Carolyn Young is the other one. They have many duties such as keeping track of the books and attendance. Communicative Arts teachers help language and speech student There are six teachers in the Communicative Arts Department. Thomas Aitken Jr. is the teacher of business English. English I and II. and also college bound English. Mr. Aitken is also the chairperson of the Freshman class sponsors. Judi Carter teaches English I. creative writing, composition, and journalism. She is also sponsor of the Orange and Black yearbook. Luis Cass is the teacher of American novels and English II and III. Mr. Cass is the chairperson of the Junior Class sponsors. Ffe also is the Head Girls' Basketball coach. Wanda Biel is the foreign language teacher. She teaches German I. II. and III and Spanish I. II. and III. She is the sponsor of Foreign Language Club and Drill Team. Sarah England is the school Speech Therapist. Robert Loss teaches Speech I and II. drama, and communicative arts. He is the sponsor of Drama Club. National Honor Society, and two yearly play productions. Sara Veigel is the resource teacher. She is also a Junior Class sponsor.
