In “The Making of a Great Year”, you’ll see the production staff and cast at work. The Seniors will star in the show and appear in their final curtain call at graduation. The Juniors work on their roles as understudies, while the Sophomores, as the supporting cast, and the Freshmen apprentices learn the trade from the upperclassmen. THE MAKING 01 All the world’s a stage , and on that stage we learn our roles, receive direction, correct our downfalls, and practice until we are ready to perform. That doesn’t apply to acting only — it also applies to life. Just as the making of a great performance requires group participation, a great director, and a determined cast, so does The Making of a Great Year’’ need determination, direction, and dedication. In a way, high school prepares us for the great performance we are all required to make in life. We struggle with our lines and miss our cues, but with the help of our directors (the faculty) and our fellow actors (the students), we are ready when the curtain goes up.
