Dennis Prichard receiving his diploma. Marsha Kentopp presented the Valedictory to the class. Ninety-five graduates wonder what the future may hold for them. Entertainment was also provided by the Senior chorus students.

The saxophone quintet consisted of Ward Reesman, Dawn Deckinger, Amalia Morehead. Karen Chittick, and Cheryl Goff. Many years of hard work were required from each student to reach this goal. Kim and Lisa are enjoying this happy occasion. Graduation for the class of 1981 was held in the Mclntire - Henderson Field House. Due to inclement weather, the ceremonies had to be moved inside from Jug Brown Stadium. The Baccalaureate message was given by the Reverend John Becker and Dick Kimbrough from Doane College presented the Commencement Address, “An Attack on Weasels.” Graduates were then presented with their diplomas by members of the Board of Education. Many Seniors showed enthusiasm, but is Kellie asleep? ...............Xl The graduates gathered in the old gym before Commencement. 23
