Girls volleyball made its first appearance at Falls City High School during the 1972-73 season. There were twenty-two girls who participated and fifteen of these lettered. The varsity record for the year was 2-6. The team went to the Peru Invitational where they made a good showing against top seeded Columbus. They also traveled to Syracuse to the District Tournament and faced another top seeded team, Waverly. The team did fairly well with their limited experience this year and should show much improvement in the future. 107 Front Row: Cherri Godemann, Patty Zinn, Phyllis Butrick, Denise Coupe, Karen Cudney, Cindy Burton, Debbie Larkin.
