o In Memoriam Students and faculty of Falls City High School were grieved by the sudden death of 17 year-old Neil Whitehead on December 5, 1971. Neil, a Falls City High Senior was fatally wounded by an accidental rifle discharge. Neil was an active participant in basketball, football, and track throughout high school. He lettered in football his senior year as the starting quarterback. He was also involved in the Senior Class Play and was a class officer his sophomore year. In his memory the students and faculty of Falls City High School along with Neil’s parents established a trophy that will be presented each year to a deserving football athlete. The remaining money will be used to erect a video tape facility in Jug Brown Stadium. 2
