DEDICATION-- CAPTAIN ROBERT F. MOORE, JR., U. S. M. C. The Orange and Black staff wish to dedicate this book to Captain Robert F. Moore, Jr., former Spanish instructor of the Falls City High School. Captain Moore was recalled to active duty in August of 1950 and was co-pilot of an ammunition laden DC-4 which crashed and exploded on a Korean mountain side on Memorial Day, 1951 He was awarded posthumously the Distinguished Flying Cross on the basis of achievement in performance of a dangerous task prior to his death.
