MRS. BETTY PARKER Finance Officer MRS. PAUL Nurse MRS. CHARLOTTE MCLAIN ADP Secretaries Accept Difficult Duties Secretaries are among the important persons that work for our school. The Main Office Secretary takes care of the incoming and outgoing mail, receiving phone calls, taking messages for the administrators and giving students assistance. In the Guidance Office the secretary ' s duties include typing letters, keeping appointments in order for the day, and receiving telephone calls for the counselors. The Attendance Secretary takes care of the student attendance for the school day, gives out passes for late arrivals, and maintains student ' s attendance records. The ADP Secretary keeps all types of records such as master schedules, lockers, attendance, and grades for the students. The Finance Officer keeps the school ' s money records in order. MRS. KATHRYN MCCALLUM Reading The new program of studies in the English Department was designed to develop student competency in communications skills and habits of wide reading and critical thinking. To explore these ideas, classes were offered in mass media, creative writing, and journalism. Reading electives and other courses were offered and individualized to meet the students ' needs. MRS.
