Debate mm m i i k % i Falls Church High School has al¬ ways been superior in debating activi¬ ties and this year was no exception. The team, consisting of Bob Blake and Richard Ashford, affirmative and Mike Thomas and David Hall, negative, was tied for second place in the District. Where are my lay-out sheets? Are those pictures back from the stu¬ dio yet? Hey, only one more minute til 3:20 and this poster is still wet! A twelve foot poster just won ' t fit any- were except in the hall. What will we do now? Photographers take those pic¬ tures! Such were the cries that couid be heard coming from room 131 sev¬ enth period as 27 students prepared the 1967 Jaguar. The first preparations began during the summer and by the beginning of school the advertising campaign was underway. December brought the first deadline and an abundance of sweat, toil, tears, and laughter. Successive deadlines proved as hectic as the first, but by April the book was ready for publication, and the staff could finally rest, for a while anyway. Yet despite the many pressures here it is —the 1967 Jaguar. Co-Editors Laurie Mastenbrook and Phil Gieseler look over plans for the 1967 Jaguar. Judy Samuelson, Underclassmen Editor; Pat Kelly, Business Manager; Dave Werth, Sports Editor; Terry Thomas, Senior Editor; Beth Allen, Features Editor; Patti Melick, Activities Editor; Alan Ambler, Faculty Editor: Principal staff members at work.
