Visiting Teacher As visiting teacher at Falls Church High School, Mrs. Louise Rigdon acts as the liaison between the school, the home, and the com¬ munity. As a member of the staff of the Fairfax County Assistant Superintendent for Instruction, she offers a specialized service to each child. “A teacher must have had three years successful teaching experience and special training before she can qualify for a visiting teacher’s certificate,” Mrs. Rigdon explains, “and we only work with referred students.” Originally from McKenney, Virginia, she re¬ ceived a B.S. from Longwood College and did graduate work at R.
