We ‘Dedicate ”To Mrs. L. ' We dedicate this booh, historic record To you, who know our lives so very checkered With varied spots of good to poor. . . But you have made performances more mature By being you. Of littleness incapable, Your humor inescapable . . . Your generous interest in us thrives From June of ’58 throughout our lives . . . And with your honest teaching powers You gave us here our very finest hours. Alumni say “We made the grade By progress made In Senior vear. j And furthermore She did not bore But set before Her students high and low A priceless gift for learners fast and slow.” Mrs. Lenvin speaks “A way to think , you slatternI Alone, with one’s own mind . . . And leave behind 7 ’he trite, the clich’d pattern!” Her students proudly say “We learn . . . We get only What we earn . . . Excitingly we think. We cannot shrink From tasks that seem so monumental . . . She says they’re hard, but fundamental. So knowledge of Macbeth we gain “In thunder, lightning, or in rain” . . . At last we knew It all was true. And something new Began To stimulate . . . To elevate . . . And here we stand “On stepping stones Of our dead selves” Toward “Higher things.” Page 4

Hi Kids! Sometimes you forget about me, but I’ve been with you at Falls Church all the time. I cheered at the games, deco¬ rated for the dances, fought my way in and out of the school buses, waded through scores of home work assignments and crammed for yea many exams.
