Jean was cho- sen to receive the Jackie Vix Outstanding Senior Girl Award. A committee of adminis- trators, teachers, and students chose the Outstanding Senior Girl based on citizen- ship, involvement, and grade point aver- age. Committee members were impressed by the job Jean did as a member of the 1984 Prom Committee and with the job she has done serving as Senior Class President, said Activities Director Bob Burton. Her quiet confidence should be a model for younger girls in the school, he added. ln 1973, the Outstanding Senior Girl Award was renamed in honor of Jackie Vix, an active student at Fallbrook High.
