Class Prophecy Time rolls on--it,can't be stooped so we the class of.l950 find, ourselves in the year 1970--what miraclous changes have taken place! VNot only has time rolled on but people, circumstances, and conditions have so changed that they are partially beyond our recognition. , We find George L. Gray playing with the House of David basketball team and the beard has made quite a handsome man out of him. A handsome and polished minister looks prayerful over his con- greation as the offering is being taken on Easter Sunday, 1970. He is abruptly startled out of his mediation by a famaliar voicg pitched in low tomes saying, ult is a quarter, a nickle, or a dime every time you turn around.n The minister, Paul Bragg, smiles to himself, Eugene is just the same guy--twenty years later. ' The envy of the farmers for miles around is a lovely rolling country-side farm, with up-to-date barns, a beautiful home, and thorough-bred cattle belonging to George White, still handsome and youngish looking at 37. Ministering to suffering humanity with an inborn love and ten- derness is Helen Richards, whose fame as nurse equals that of the now deceased Sister Kenny. Patsy Lewis and Herman Babb live such a delightful and happy married life that they are a model for all the families ln the com- munity. Anna Lee Burke's smile has well repaid her. It is a famallar part of all current magazine advertisements for toothpaste--as well as Anna Lee herself, slim, well-groomed, and chic. The greatest asset to the mothrr's of the Fall Branch area is the Tom Haws Nursery School personally supervisedgby Tommy himself who has endeared himself to all the kiddies with his never ending supply of ntall talgsn and Nnursery boners.n The entire business and finanical part of the school is handled by the serene, beautiful, poised Hester Morrison, who has already served as secretary to two governors of Tennessee. Almetal Moore, still verylblond, and with a giggle that hasn't aged a bit, supervies a group of beauty operators in the largest shop in East Tennessee located at Morristown, Tennessee. It wasn't hard to find Wanda Pierce but she's been nMrs. Baxteru so long that her neighbors hardly remembered her as a Pierce--she looked very pert and chic as a house wife--and the youngsters were happy little hoodlums having a wonderful time in a big sandpile. Betty Jo Richards has fulfilled her lifetime'ambition,of becoming a teacher, and for the past 16 years she has been doing an excellent job of teaching English to the younger generation--the years have been kind to her--and she looks very much like'the Betty of 1950. Ruth McCrary, after resisting the temptation for years, has finally joined the army, since she is etationed on foreign soil we can't tell you very much about her appearance, but from all reports she see' to be a pretty tough sergant. I So now you've seen the class of '50 in the '7O's, lets just Qhope the next twenty years will gb as well, The Senior Class
