To The Senior Class: We have not been students in classes merely to understand trigonometry or Caesar. We have been involved in the task of becoming educated - and this is a task in which there is no final success. This is reflected in all of our lives by the fact that we ultimately represent only -vary- ing degrees of achievement. Education is advancement toward knowledge. Our minds are finite but knowledge seems to be infinite. High school life, higher learning, adult life have the same objective - acquiring a clear understanding of the meaning of life. This is, after all, the objective of education. Once we can successfully inject ourselves into the social stream with our fellow men and bring benefits to society then will we realize that the pursuit of knowledge is unending. If I can give a final message to this year's class, let it be that there will always be room for improvement in all of us - there will always be room for improvement in society. As you follow your quest in trying to improve yourself, you will be developing those very humanizing quali- ties that will affect your environment and the people whose lives you touch. After your years in Falconer, you have reached the culmination of one stage of your education.
