E IOR OFFICER R Englund F Schrader H Schnars Mr Eklum S Rxch HIS school year began w1th a burst of act1v1ty for the Sen1or Class The flrst week of school brought the Student COUHCII campalgn and the class offxcers electxon The Class of 1954 was the f1rst to present two Sen1or plays Jud1 Clayton and Jackle Pond shanng the leadlng role Thxs play was present ed on November 19th and 20th The other play 'Galahad Jones was a come dy starr1ng D1ck Englund A speclal performance of Galahad Jones was pre sented on January 16th for the March of D1mes The other performances were g1ven January 13th and 14th The Semor Class sponsored two dances a Val entzne s Day dance called Cup1d's Del1ght and a March dance the Fr1endly Frol1c The hlghllght of the year was the Sen1or tr1p to New York C1ty The class left on Apr11 18th and returned on Apnl Zlst Chaperones for the tr1p were Mr and Mrs Eklum and Mr and Mrs Lxndholm Other Sprlng events were the May Festlval and the Class Nxght program and ball The .Tumors gave the Sexuors the annual banquet and prom 1n June The year ended wlth Commencement exerc1ses on June 28th 1954 Il 1 .A C, x as ' . g- 4.
