E were all greatly saddened by the death of George D Crespy who gave h1s lxfe October 16 1953 1n an exp1os1on aboard the Leyte 1n Boston Harbor where he was stat1oned Pudgey as he was affectlonately known was born August 14 1933 H15 years ln Falconer Central School were frlled w1th many act1v1t1es He was a 1n sports lncluded football track baseball bowllng and basketball He was also an attendant 1n the 1951 May Fest1val Pudgey s popularlty among h1s classmates was Shown by h1s electlon as presldent of the Semor Class of 1951 After graduat1on he entered the Navy July 2 1951 and recelved h1s bas1C tralrung at the U S Naval Trauung Center Great Lakes Ill1no1s Prevlous to belng transferred to the Leyte ' he was graduated from the Av1at1on Mach 1n1st Mate School 1n Tennessee Pudgey s fxne fuendly nature can serve as a splend1d example for all of 4 g 1 KN member of the Hi-Y, Corridor Staff, Falcon Staff, and F Club.
