MEMORIANI HE sudden death of Mr Iullan S Blgelow at the flrst of thls school year came as a great shock to the faculty and students of F C S Mr Blgelow was born October 18 1902 1n Portland Malne He attended Bowdoln and Bates colleges, and took h1s master s degree at St Bonaventure C01 lege He came to thls school flve years ago as head of the Engllsh Department He taught Engllsh III dramatlcs, publlc speakmg and llterature Mr Blgelow was also an actwe faculty member of the Honor Society and took part ln the Llttle Theater of Jamestown Mr Blgelow s classes were always llvely and mterestmg w1th hls quotmg from varlous dramas and poems as well as actmg out passages from them He was truly a great frlend of the student body as well as the faculty and they wlll long remember hlm for h1s sense of humor and many quotatlons 5 S it i lap,

N November 12th of this year the Falconer Central School was greatly saddened by the death of our beloved supervising principal, Harvey C Fenner Mr Fenner had served in the Falconer Schools for the past 25 years and was dearly loved and respected by all his pupils and associates Born in Rochester, July 8 1904, Mr Fenner attended Albany State Teachers College and then became vice principal at Briarcliff Manor High School He came to Falconer in 1927 as science and math teacher and later became vice at several different colleges and universities He was named first supervising principal of the Falconer Central School District Mr Fenner was an active member of his church and commumty and will long be remembered by the students of F C S for his fine spirit and personality It is the hope of these students that the grace of God rest upon him forever more 4 , . principal. In 1937 he received his master' s degree after graduate extension study
