DUANE SEGERLIN What sets Duane apart from all the other seniors? His laugh! At basketball games he supports the team by ringing that ever-present cowbell. He participates in Hi-Y, and his hobby is repairing auto- mobiles. He plans to go to college tol- lowing graduation. Hats off, to you Duane, tor your splendid work on the Props committee of the Senior Play. WALTER SORENSON Here is a fellow who went contrary to the saying, People with red hair have bad tempers. This statement can easily be proved by asking his numerous friends who reside in Iamestown. He likes to read and roller skate in his spare time. He is a very active member of the Civil Air Patrol. We dont know Walter's plans upon graduation, but may we say good luck in whatever you do, Walter. DEMARIS SPAULDING From Kennedy comes our De, the gal with the hubba-hubba shape. She ex- cels in sports and likes dancing. She wants to go to a beautician school upon graduation. Her pleasing personality has won her many steadfast friends. We know that success can't help but come her way, and we wish her a happy and suc- cessful life. EVELYN SPENCER Tall, slim, blonde and witty-that's none other than everybody's friend, Evelyn. Her hobbies are centered around danc- ing, reading, sewing, and riding horse- back. Evelyn has her heart set on be- coming a telephone operator after gradua- tion. BETTY SWANSON That short, vivacious, good-natured blonde of the Senior class is none other than Betty, Her sunny disposition and everlasting smile are only two of her many admirable qualities. Betty has proved to be a true friend. We have learned that her main interest is in the Navy. Best of luck to you, Betty, BERTHA WAITH Remember Emily in the Senior Play? Small, dark-haired, and friendly, Bert hopes to be a medical secretary and with that ambition and personality how can she miss? With her best pal, Barb, she is always strolling through the halls spreading cheer and hailing friends everywhere. We are proud to have had Bert in our midst. DAVID WAKEFIELD This tall, brown-eyed, goodlooking sen- ior plans to become a farmer after gradu- ation. David is a quiet and reserved per- son, but he is energetic and a worthwhile member of the senior class. Success and happiness will surely be David's in his later life. CHARLES WALKER Chuck is our Student Council Presi- dent, and he has accepted this honor with guiet modesty. This non-resident has gaine wide popularity as being every- body's friend tespecially the womenl. 'Ne're sure Chuck's ambition to go to Cornell will be fulfilled for he is sure to graduate with high honors. BETTY WALLACE Betty is a very ciiuiet Eerson, but when you get to know er s e makes one of the best friends. She is another one of those seniors who detest the ten weeks test. Roller skating and square dancing seem to take up most of her spare time- I Wonder why? IEAN WEBSTER Here's a brown-e ed lass with a fine taste for clothes. lin fact lean spends much of her spare time knitting and sew- ing. Dependability and a sense of humor are marked characteristics. With these and a good student record, lean should sail through lite smoothly.

PAULINE OGNIBENE There goes Pauline hurrying down the hall again. This small, vivacious girl is always on the run. She is president of the Mi-Y, and a very active member of the Dramatics Club, Sportsmanship Broth- erhood, Choir, and other organizations. Po Po does a fine job of singing at the Roost, and from the looks of that pic- ture in her locker it seems her main in- terest is formerly from the Navy. Lucky boyl CHARLES OSGO OD Charles is better known as Teddy among his school friends. Being studious and neat, Tedd has been an asset to F. H. S. Maybe lfoyce Hewes can tell you more about Teddy. With a personality like his, success is sure. Here's wishing you much luck in your inevitable suc- cessful future from the class of '46. BARBARA PETERSON Ambitious! Friendly smile! Giggles!-a fitting description of Barb, the editor of our year book. Barb is a neat, well- dressed senior with saucer green eyes and a rosy complexion. This hard-work- ing senior is an Honor Society member and one of our majorettes. She has been an active sports fan, and attends all school functions with the utmost of in- terest and pleasure. The younger genera- tion has something to look forward to as she is going to be an elementary teacher. BETTY PETERSON Here's a swell girl who can make us all laugh with her funny antics and unique sense of humor. She has been known to put tacks in chairs and pass out loaded cigars. Look for her at Nic's in the back booth. Betty really gets around, has many friends, and is always ready for a good time. ROGER PETERSON Roger is one of the quiet, studious members of the Senior Class of '46. Nev- ertheless he is a member of the Band, the Honor Society, Corridor Staff, and Hi-Y-of which he is treasurer this year He is now employed at the Falconer Printing Company but plans to go on to college after graduation. Good luck, Rogerl DONALD REIMONDO Watch out kidsl hang on to your soul 'cause here comes that 'Tin Lizzie again -the dark-haired driver is Don. Don never takes things seriously. He says he wor:'t work unless he absolutely has to, but once he gets down to work every- body had better sit back and watch a brainstorm. By the way Don, why don't you tell us who that smooth blonde is that you have been seeing lately? LELIA REYNOLDS Lelia first came to Falconer in her junior year. During the past two years she has gained numerous friends and has proved to be very valuable to our class. Lelia is a very understanding girl and willing to share everyone's troubles. A bright future is in store for you, Lelia, wit your fine disposition and ambition. -iii? 5 SAM RIBAUDO Where ever you see Chuck you will always find Sam around. Sam, is another of those seniors who is crazy about the ten weeks tests. tHe must be kid- dingl Since he did so well in the senior play, l'm sure he would make a grand father. lDon't you?l Strictly off the rec- ord, his first name is Salvatore. KATHERINE RUCKMAN Everyone knows Katie by her pleas- ant smile and friendly ways. Katie is a capable commercial student, who works part time at the Excel Metal Corporation Office. She finishes all that she sets out to do. She is often seen with her good friends, Blondie and Mary. Good luck, Katherine, in your future plans. FREDERICK SCHELI. lf you have never seen a woman hater take a look at Fred. Love, he says, is a lot of hooey. We feel sorry for you, Fred, because you don't know what you are missing. Fred, who is a school police, seems to enjoy the time spent out- side of school. We wonder why? RONALD SCHULTZ Brown eyes and curly hair - that's Schultz. He can't seem to find enough to keep him busy, but his main problem is Can I get the car'? Roller skating takes up Ronnie's spare time. TOHN SCHWARTZ Who's that gallant, red-headed fellow we see hanging around the halls? Why, it's Red Schwartz. But lay off, girls, Jamestown seems to have him-hook, line, and sinker. Although Iohnny loves to loaf, you can be sure he is always willing to help a soul in distress-especially if it's a member of the fairer sex. We all wish you the best of luck, Red, MARTHA SEARS Martha is one of the ambitious members of the Senior class who hails from Levant. She is a very quiet girl and is liked im- mensely by all who know her. Her main interests are dancing, sewing, and read- ing. We know success will come her way in everything she attempts. MARTHA SEEKINGS Petite and fun-loving describe Martha. Her hobbies are dancing and working in diners. She is engaged to a sailor so her main interest lies in the Navy. What a lucky sailorl We wish her much hap- piness in the future.
