' l TO THE GRADUATING CLASS UF 196.3 With a pang of sadness in our hearts, we, the first year class, stand quietly on the shore watching the sea roll farther and farther away. The tide of gradua- tion carries with it those fellow-students who have become so much a part of us. VVe find in the sand footprints of our graduates - imprints of the battles, the victories, the fine accomplishments, the enduring labors, the struggles, the friend- ships and examples. Although you are setting sail on the boundless sea of ministry your footprints lie deeply embedded on the shore of Faith School of Theology. When doubts and fears come upon us, trying to sway us from Cod's call on our lives, we will remain in your footprints, firm and steadfast. NVe will endeavor, by Codis grace and power, to walk in the exemplary steps that you have left be- hind. Class of 1965 They that were full have hired out themselves for bread ..... M I Samuel 2:5 We would like to apply this verse to the Class of 1963. For three years you have given yourselves to diligent study that you might know how to rightly divide the word of truth. You have learned much from your studies but even greater is the knowledge that you have received from the Holy Spirit as you have waited upon the Lord. Now the time is at hand when you will go forth as hired servants of the Lord. As you step out in faith, you can become bread of life to the hungry souls around you. The Holy Spirit can use you to meet the needs of the famishing world. VVe must say farewell to you, our upper classmen, who have been with us through two wonderful years in this School that God has founded. On behalf of the second year class we say, May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ go with youf, Our prayers will follow you as you go out to become bread for the hungry. Class of 1964 32 l
