Cer- tificates for outstanding leadership demonstrated through- out the week were awarded to each officer. The Presi- dent was given a special leadership award of 825. by the State FFA Association. The Chapter Dairy Judging team placed over 87 other chapters in the State Judging Contest. Chapter officers participated in the District Par- liamentary Procedures Contest with creditable showing. The Chapter participated in the following District and State Contest: Livestock Judging, Land Judging, Dairy Judging, Shop Skills, Arc Welding, Brazing, Soldering, Pipe Fitting, Electric Wiring, Three-Way Switch, Land measuring, Rope Halter, Farm Land Operation. The total Chapter Budget of Sl, 000. OO was raised by Chapter members.

ur. LAND IUDGING TEAM: James Mangrum, Eddie Baker, Billy Gordon, and Jerry Baker. This team has been in the dis trict land judging contest held in the Pinewood Community. In this contest they placed third. Through their efforts, they are learning the value of land and what type of crops the land will support. WW :fm am emu iawfPmE LIVESTOCK IUDGING TEAM: Larry Sulli- van, ,Terry Baker, and Mike McCord, not pictured. This team entered the livestock judging contest at the State Fair this year. The purpose of this team is to teach the boys the fine qualities of livestock.
