The Apache cindermen had their best season in five years with a young, but competitive team. The squad was led by two seniors who will be impossible to replace in the next few years. Chuck Farr was always in the money in the pole vault and Tom Hubbard did every¬ thing except carry the water bucket. The juniors represented their class well with premier sprinter Rick Singer; high jumper Randy Wright; long jumper Rick Grimes; and all purpose man Dewey Foust. The sophomores were in full force, and the future looks bright. The freshmen, although a bit green, show much potential that will be noticed in time.
