The Apaches Band represented Fairview at many places throughout the year. During the summer they played at socials and homecomings. The De¬ fiance County Fair provide a challenge as always, along with alot of hard work. The marching band played at all the football games. The pep band furnished music for half-times and between games during the basketball season. The Stardusters played at the Montpeliar Prom and the Athletic Banquet. The most outstanding event of the year was trav¬ eling to Windsor, Canada, to play at the Internation¬ al Freedom Festival. The 71-72 chorus started out the season with the production of the mucical Oliver . This year's musical was the best ever. They also attended Dis¬ trict competition at Maumee where they received a I rating, this sent them on to state competition at Columbus where they received a II. The chorus at¬ tended solo and ensemble contest at Bryan. Everyone participating did an excellent job. APACHE MUSICMAKERS
