To be a senior is to be a rare breed of animal that is independant, stubborn, robust, creative, dramatic and sometimes inconsistent. To be a senior at Fairview is to be prepared to meet the open future with the training that the contained world of high school has offered. It is to eventually come to grips with the very real pre¬ sence of difficulty, as well as accomplishment, and to be physically and morally prepared to meet it head-on. The success of a year is measured in involvment. To be a senior is to be real. And that's what keeps a heart young. They do¬ minated presidencies in 7 out of 8 organizations. Twenty eight attended the vo¬ cational school and more than thirty struggled with the compli¬ cated process of passing college entrance tests and meeting the entrance costs of college. Out of the class of 72, 15 students are going to a four year college; six to medical schools; eight to a two year college; and one to a pro¬ fessional military college. 39
