Mills. Fv THINCLADS KEEP MOVING ON The Fairview Apache Thinclads ended up with a 3 win 6 loss record. Even so, this is the most well balanced team Fairview has ever had. There will be a big gap to be filled with the graduation of Gerald Hanna, Steve Singer, Rob Losey and Bob Highland, but it looks as though the underclassmen led by Tom Hubbard could promise a good season in the future. VARSITY WRAP-UP Dumb ref! I don't want it! Here you take it. The Fairview hoopsters won only three of their first eight starts. However, once in the groove they won ten consecutive games to set a school record. This was accomplished by the team's great offensive and defensive playing. Their offensive average was 71.4 points per game and their defensive average was 61.6 Bruce Berenyi set several individual school records. He scored a career - high of 1071 points. He had a career - high of 734 rebounds. He also broke Ron Renollet's single - game scoring record when he scored 43 points against Holgate.
