The Student Council was organized in the fall with Mike Singer as President, Mary Gon¬ zalez as Vice-President, and Cindy Orcholski as Secretary-Treasurer. The first activity of the Student Council was to assist in organizing the first Homecoming of Fairview High School. Later they adjusted a proposed constitution which had been written at the end of the last year. Silver Bells was the theme for the Christmas Dance with the Hilltop band providing the music. The Student Council visited the Napoleon and Hilltop High Schools. The Student Council was able to experience the atmosphere and problems of other schools and discuss with their Student Council the ways to solve them. The objectives of the Student Council are to improve school spirit and to improve working relationships among students, faculty and administration. In summary we think the Student Council has had a successful year and are looking forward to a new year with new challenges and hope we will be able to assist in a constructive way to deal with these problems.
