li? The Bulldogs completed a sound season with numerous indi- viduals playing the kind of foot- ball many colleges desire. Five Bulldogs received full scholar- ships to various colleges and uni- versities throughout the Midwest and South. Blair Brown, Don Grimes and Lonnie Harris made first team All City, Nelson Moore and Mike Scarpelli were voted onto the second team and three more seniors received Hon- orable Mentions fCraig Bacher, Norman Shearer, Allan Ste- phensj. The Bulldogs also were aided by the play of Junior Ken- ley Starks who came off the bench when Quarterback Steve Edwards was injured early in the season. Starks was named Most Improved player of the '76-'77 season. Was the team's five wins and five losses reflective of the talent of the '76-'77 Bulldogs? Not according to Coach Winters, who pointed out that three of the five losses had one touchdown or less difference.

FAIRVVW I The Reserve Bulldogs displayed amazing potential in their two wins during an eight game sea- son. Coach Potenza feels he will be able to send several players to the Varsity ranks next season. Apathy and the small size of the players hurt the Frosh team this year. The turnout at tryouts was very small and few players who made the team were very big. None the less, the frosh played well together and finished with high hopes for years to come. ll 'K' .
