Fcurvzew s H Lstoly Fairview High School was founded rn 1900 The bulldmg was to be located at Catalpa Dnve and Farrvrew Avenue Unul thxs bulld ing was completed in 1904 classes were held in the Old Court House at corner of Thu-cl and Mam Streets. Eventually Fairview became a city school and the enrollment outgrew the building In 1929 the present buildmg at Hillcrest Ave nue and Philadelphia Drive was dedicated This building also became crowded bringing the need for expan sion. An addition of twenty clastoans, a new auditorium a new cafeteria, enlarged gymnasimn, was completed in 1954 As the changes wxll be made and the enrollment wi Falrview but the spirit and loyalty of her 71 S XX' I N... . f , xl T!
