r I'UiW I ■ YOU’VE GOT A FRIEND I like you. (Why do you think 1 wait for you at noon, so we can walk to lunch together?) I try to understand you. (Re- member last week when you had a special problem and we talked about it.) I am your friend. I like to do things with you. (Like riding horses or working on cars.) I enjoy hearing what's on your mind. (Your opinion about everything.) I do not like some things about you. (Like your taste in clothing or the way you drive.) But I am your friend. I like you so I try to understand.

I am courteous and helpful when you require my services. When no one else understands, I do. I am a student, a teacher, a classmate, an administrator, a bus driver, a parent, a school employee, a friend. I am everyday people.
