Chorus Sings For Its Supper At Functions The Chorus had a very full and exciting year. It performed for several local clubs and ban- quets, attended contests such as district and tri-state, and also attended the Stillwater Choral Festival. With the kind help of Mrs. Jack Bostwick the complete chorus was able to present a choreographed program of broadway hits and Christmas favorites. The Nonette, a group of nine very talented girls, sang at many community activities throughout the year. Three French Hens swing across the stage. Junior High And High School Bands Performs At First Annual Winter Concert Marching activities of the J. H. Band in- cluded a II at Alva with a I in inspection. The band placed 5th in the State Fair parade while the twirlers took 2nd. The marching band per- formed at all home football games and joined the H. S. Band in the homecoming halftime. Other activities included concerts, sight read- ing solos at Laveme and Alva and the Tri-State Festival. Comet section performing at Mid-Winter Con- cert.
