Honor Societies Are Selected Students in the top 10 percent of both the junior high and high school make up the State Honor Societies. The National Honor Societies consists of the top 15 percent of the high school students based 70 percent on grades and 30 percent on leadership, character, and service. One field trip per year is taken by the National Honor Society and it performs two service projects during the year. One of the service projects was the Christmas party, where the gifts were donated to the Enid Children's Hospital. Yearbook Staff Works Hard To Accomplish Journalistic Goals. Many activities throughout the year involved the yearbook staff. These activities included a seminar in Weatherford, winning 1st place in the window sign contest for the Watonga game, placing 2nd in the spirit sign contest for the Homecoming game, and sponsoring a spirit door sign contest. At the OIPA meeting at O. U., the 1971 JACKET placed With Honors. Working five days during Christmas vacation, two during Semester tests, ana many nights, the staff managed to meet deadlines.
