Besides the all important job of keeping the students informed on most daily activities, Mac Wahl ful- filled the job of Student Council President by act- ing as Master of Ceremonies at all Student Council sponsored assemblies and activities. Student Council Reinstates Spirited Homecoming Bonfire Under the leadership of President Mac Wahl, the Student Council continued its challenging program of student activities. Homecoming con- tests, Christmas parties, and National assemblies were just a few of the many functions performed by the Student Council. On October 28, the Student Council reinstated the custom of a bonfire to raise school spirit for Homecoming. The job of raising school spirit is important, and having fun is also important. Staging a Christmas party equal to all others, was high- lighted by Bert Hensley bringing the image of Father Christmas - without the necessity of pad- ding - to the students.
