School Services, Maintenance Required Of Staff Maintenance of school involves many hours of work each day for school plays, assemblies, sports events and other school functions. Under the leadership of Mr. Floyd Pharis, the staff custodians keep the schools in clean working order and good repair. Working before and after school, the cooks apply their knowledge from culi- nary arts school in planning and serving nutritious meals to students and faculty members. With six women under her guidance, Mrs. Stella Warkentine tests her skill and patience daily as she pre- pares hot balanced meals for students and faculty. FOREVER WORKING, SECRETARIES Betty Willits, Lillian Nickel, Millie Burghart, and Tina Lakey provide invaluable help to both faculty and students. Yellowjackets Statistics For 1970 Are Impressive Satisfaction is the keywork that might best describe the 1970 football season. The team, playing under the sha- dow of previous seasons, pulled out with a 4-6 season re- cord. Under the directions of quarterbacks, Danny Willits, and Bill Rowe, and the running abilities of Gary Wright, the Jackets were able to rake up a total of 2,392 yards gained and score 143 points. In the all important defense department, Ken Cottrill made 26 unassested tackles and 77 assists to rate as top defensive man. The team finished the year with a trip to the O.U.- O.S.U. football game, sponsored by the Fairview Booster Club. Bill Rowe confers with Coach Ritz about a crucial play.
