TELLOW JACKET FAIRVIEW HIGH SCHOOL FAIR VIEW, OKLAHOMA 2 FOREWORD Spring is here again. This is the time of year when shouts of joy are heard as students forget that English test and head for the swimming pool. The time is upon us when tears of joy and of sadness are seen in the eyes of seniors as they walk the halls of F. H. S. for the last time. Many memorable events have occurred since we started the rugged road last fall, events which in the future, we will long to relive. Who of us will forget the banquets, planning and attending, or the class parties. No one could forget our athletics, the exciting foot- ball season, the Yellowjacket victory at the Northwestern basketball tournament, or the track meets. In later years we will yearn to attend another F. H. A. meeting, annual staff meeting, and yes, even another hour of history or math. But most of all we will wish to see our friends again, the people with whom we were happy and sad, the people at whom we were angry and the ones at whom we made eyes. These people are pictured in the proceeding pages. The annual staff hopes in future years by looking at this annual that you will be able to relive for a few fleeting moments the events with the friends who have made F. H.S., 1964-65, a memorable success. Bonnie Wilson and Bob Graalman co-editors 3 Many years of devotion to Fairview High School, characterizes our friend and leader. Because of his overwhelming personality, he is loved by all. We, the annual staff, with sincere thoughts, wish to dedicate the 1965 YELLOWJACKET to Mr. Ed Ackerman. 4 ADMINISTRATION In his first year at Fairview High School, our superintendent, Allen A. Aaron, has gained the respect of all because of his skill in handling the mechanics of his job and also his fairness with students. A most respected and capable person is our principal, Max K. Moyers. He keeps our school running smoothly with firmness and common sense and strives to make successful citizens off all students. Working diligently to solve the problems of running an efficient school system are the members of the school board. They are George Keck Jr., Clerk; Clyde Leonard, Member; Edwin Kliewer, President; Leonard Mitch, Member; and Udean Gaylord, Vice-President. 6 MR. ED ACKERMAN; MR.
