The dedication of the an- nual has been a tradition for many years. It has been the pleasure of this year's Annual Staff and others of previous years to dedicate the annual to honored and de- serving members of the faculty. With these points clearly in mind, we feel we have made an excellent choice. To each of us the familiar, Clear the deck , or, If the shoe fits you, wear it , has become al- most essential to make school seem complete. Firmness, yet, patience, and understanding are among his finer traits. He has worked untiringly to help each and every member of the faculty as well as each member of the stud- ent body with their many problems. His leadership and personal guidance have become a challenge to all who associate with him . It is with great respect that we, the members of the Annual Staff, dedicate this yearbook of 1963 to Mr. Max K. Moyers. MR. MAX K. The Fairview Board of Education is a group of tax- payers who are elected by the people of the district to represent them in matters concerning property maintenance and administration of the district's school. BOARD OF EDUCATION An attitude of authority and understanding are the noteworthy qualifications that have won our super- intendent, Mr. C. O. Lanman, the admiration and respect of students and faculty. In carrying out his duties, Mr. Max K. Moyers, a most capable principal, has labored diligently to bring numerous changes and improvements to this school's curriculum. 6
